"UFA has a responsibility to support the farmers and ranchers who feed the world. It’s a responsibility our co-operative takes seriously, and we believe that announcements like today’s investment in agriculture are critical, not only to our members and customers’ success but to our sector and the province's ongoing economic prosperity."
Scott Bolton, President & CEO, UFA.
"UFA's members and customers are the driving force behind the western Canadian agriculture powerhouse, which is strong and diverse. The opportunity in front of us is why we are making considerable investments that help farmers and ranchers ensure food security on a global scale. We know the prairies are a place of abundance, and the economic viability of everyone in the Canadian food system depends on the success of the agri-food and agriculture sectors."
